Although the group is composed of nine active members, only eight of them are making a comeback. These are members: SUHO, Xiumin, Baekhyun, CHEN, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun.
Kai will not be participating in their album promotions as he enlisted for his mandatory military service last May.
Chinese rapper Lay, one of the 12 founding members of the group, is also unable to participate in the comeback due to his solo promotions in China.
EXO had become septuple million sellers after gaining 1.3 million pre-orders for their seventh album.
EXO-L, EXO’s fanbase, earlier trended “EXO worth the wait” on Twitter as the group has been on a military hiatus since Xiumin’s enlistment in May 2019.
